ClearLake Furniture was commissioned to design and craft this 7-piece Executive Suite for their client in Weston, Massachusetts.
The designs were crafted from Cocobolo wood inlaid with Ebony. The client chose Cocobolo and Ebony because, although they are exotic, rare, and beautiful woods, they are not endangered and are logged using responsible, low-impact methods. Cocobolo wood comes from Northern Mexico and is prized for its colors and highly-figured grain patterns. Cocobolo trees can grow reaching heights of 65 to nearly 100 feet with trunk diameters up to 3 feet. Ebony wood comes from Nigeria.
