Sales Tax Holiday: July 12 & 13

Buy four chairs and although your total may exceed $2,000, each individual piece that is less than $2,000 is eligible for the exemption. Plus, every rug, pillow, lamp, and other accessory is included! Perfect for "cash & carry". OR, if your furniture will be delivered within Vermont, place a custom order on July 12 or 13, pay for it in full, and you qualify for the tax-free savings if the individual items are priced below $2,000. 5 MORE reasons to come to Vermont in May.
Spring in Vermont is spectacular. While you’re planning your visit, be sure to include a stop at our workshop in Ludlow or our gallery in Woodstock.
- Vermont’s artisans open their studio doors to guest for the annual Open Studio Weekend, May 24-25. In the Ludlow area, explore such works (and works in progress) as innovative pottery, jewelry, oil and watercolor paintings, blown glass, raku tiles, woodfire stoneware, and handpainted wooden “wish bowls” … to name a few.
- Hit the links at Okemo Valley Golf Course for 18 holes of championship golf for a spring getaway.
- Get back to nature at the Vermont Institute of Natural Science’s Birdathon, May 10-17, and support their efforts to help inured birds.
- May is a wonderful month to enjoy canoeing or kayaking on the serene, crystal water of scenic Echo Lake.
- If you’re looking for something that’s more extreme than serene, the Green Mountain Madness Gravity Races hits the slopes at Ascutney State Park on May 31 and June 1. Racers compete in Street Luge, Buttboard, Dirtsurfer, Speedboard, and Gravity Bike on one of North America's most challenging courses.
